Editor's note
The W Sydney features a rooftop pool which offers a pleasant experience for families, with a dedicated area that children enjoy. While the pool is an amenity mentioned in several reviews, it appears to be a functional rather than exceptional part of the hotel experience, serving well for relaxation and family fun.

The hotel rooms themselves are amazing. However, the pool and most restaurants are quite average, with the exception of the main restaurant.
Rooftop pool has spectacular views at sunset.
