Editor's note
Hotel SOFIA Barcelona boasts a stunning rooftop pool area, a definite highlight for guests seeking relaxation after exploring the city. While the pool itself is a beautiful outdoor feature, it is complemented by an indoor pool within the spa, providing options for all weather. The rooftop location offers a standout atmosphere, though specific details on service levels are limited.
Pool details confirmed against the hotel's own website plus at least one independent source. No editor has visited in person. Booking links may earn us a commission; they never influence the ranking order.
What guests say about the pool
In their own words
The zero gravity area of the spa's pool was the most relief to chronic back pain I've felt in years. It was wild - you basically have a shallow area with angled seats under the water that let you just float (not drift around) and every part of your body is freed from the torment of gravity.

Why it's on the list
Hotel SOFIA Barcelona offers both an indoor and an outdoor rooftop pool with skyline views. The rooftop pool is open seasonally from May to September, with a poolside bar available. The hotel also features a heated hot tub within the spa.
Why it's not higher
The pool area was noted to be under construction during a previous visit, though it is now complete. The main outdoor pool is seasonal, limiting year-round access to the outdoor area.
